GREATER HOUSTON LACROSSE

The Woodlands Junior High Lacrosse Club is a proud memeber of Greater Houston Lacrosse, the local chapter of the national governing body of men's and women's lacrosse, US Lacrosse.
The mission of the Greater Houston Lacrosse chapter is:
- To grow and support the sport of lacrosse in the Greater Houston Area
- To support local teams, coaches, boards, players and parents
- To participate and host national events such as the Youth Festivals, Women’s Division National Tournament, Women’s Division Intercollegiate Associates Championships, Men’s National Senior Showcase & US Lacrosse Cup regional tournaments.
- To represent the Houston area and have direct input on US Lacrosse policy and operations through Regions Council representation on the US Lacrosse Board of Directors.
- To host US Lacrosse coaching and officials training clinics
- To host player clinics staffed by US National Team Players
- To have the opportunity to share resources resulting from national partnerships with organizations such as the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) and thePositive Coaching Alliance (PCA)
- To have the opportunity to establish a chapter Hall of Fame to honor outstanding players, coaches, officials and contributors, and assist with the identification of qualified nominees for the national Hall of Fame
- To have access to the Camp Scholarship Program
- To have a Presence at the US Lacrosse Annual Chapter Assembly, an interactive meeting of national headquarters staff, board members and regional chapter representatives
