OUR 7TH GRADE TEAM

2009 7th Grade Houston City Champions

The 7th Grade Woodlands Team competes in the 7th grade division of the Greater Houston Lacrosse league and as it is sometimes necessary to complete a team the coaches may invite select underclassmen to participate with the 7th Grade team as well.

The accomplishments of the 7th Grade team also closely mimic those of the 8th grade team. They have actually done one better by recording four undefeated seasons since 2003, as opposed to the 8th Grade team’s three. They have had less opportunity to win city championships in the past due to the absence of a playoff or championship tournament at the 7th grade level. However, that all changed in 2009 when they went through the inaugural GHL 7th Grade Championship Tournament
unscathed to win the title.
