2008 Woodlands Junior High Lacrosse 8th Grade Team with Sponsorship Banner

On behalf of the players, parents, coaches and many volunteers who help make Lacrosse in The Woodlands a success -- WE THANK YOU for your willingness to support our efforts.

Lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in the state of Texas, however it is a non UIL supported sport in the state of Texas. Since Woodlands Junior High Lacrosse is NOT supported financially by the local school district our club is responsible for all expenses.

We are very proud of the accomplishments of our Woodlands Junior High Lacrosse players. Last year our teams had an unprecedented season winning the Houston City Championship at all levels. The 8th Grade team won a 5th consecutive Houston Area City Championship and we will be seeking our 6th straight championship this spring.

Though our program has been successful, we realize our growth and continued success rest heavily on area support from businesses such as yours.

It is with great respect and humility we ask you to consider supporting our program by being a sponsor. The following outline may assist you in your decision; however we are open to accepting any gift you are willing to share with our club.

WHO IS THE WOODLANDS JUNIOR HIGH LACROSSE CLUB?
  • The ONLY Junior High lacrosse program in The Woodlands
  • 5th – 8th Grade Boys who are residents of the Greater Woodlands Area
  • Member of the Greater Houston Lacrosse Association
  • The premier youth lacrosse club in the Greater Houston Area
 
WHY ARE WE ASKING FOR SPONSORSHIPS?
  • Lacrosse is a non UIL supported sport in the state of Texas
  • The club is NOT supported financially by the local school district
  • The club is responsible for all of its own expenses
  • The club cannot adequately support itself on registration fees alone
 
WHERE DOES THE SPONSORSHIP MONEY GO?
  • To insure a safe environment for all players
    • Utility fees for proper lighting of fields
    • EMT at all home games
    • Certified Game Officials
    • Field maintenance
  • Proper uniforms field equipment to meet league standards and requirements for competition
    • This money is not used to buy equipment for individual players. All players within the program are responsible for suppling his own equipment.

  • Logo is on our club sponsorship banner which is displayed at each game
  • Logo and website is displayed on our game day roster sheet

TEAM LEVEL SPONSORSHIP: $250
Team level sponsors are recognized through the following advertising outlets:
  • Company name is listed in the sponsorship section of the Woodlands Junior High Lacrosse website
  • Company name is listed on the team sponsorship banner which is displayed at each game
